Light of the Loon is our colorist/letterer Amy Spencer’s awesome anti-folk band with her sister Sharon. This pic is from their show Friday night at the Iron Saddle Saloon. Amy is dressed as Doctor Rainbow and her sister is a magical unicorn. This pic is just the tip of the iceberg. More will be available soon.
If you are close to Akron, Ohio you should definitely come out and see Light of the Loon.

Look for her at a convention near you!
If you want a Neg-Award for noticing that Doctor Rainbow’s costume lacks boots, pleat buttons, keyboad bracelets, rainbow stripes on her chest, or Femto-Lab…forget it. Amy is still working on it.

Thanks to Heads Up Arts Radio for featuring me on episode #21 of their free podcast. I was interviewed by Sharon Pritt and Amy Spencer (our colorist & letterer), who regularly hosts/produces the show (She wears many hats, I tell you.).
I talk a bit about my working methods and influences if you’re interested in listening. HUAR is a show local to the Northeast, Ohio area, where I live. So I explain why super-heroes were born in Cleveland. Furthermore, I explain why so many super-heroes wear underwear outside their pants.

Legends of My Land is the new book from Super-Peers artist Alex Rivero and Gonzalo Ordóñez.
It’s a collection of myths and lore from Chile, featuring ancient mummies, ghosts, pirates, love, war, Inca and Aymara stories. Half the art is Alex’s and the other half is Genzoman’s…and it’s all brilliant.

Our colorist/letterer/art editor extraordinaire Amy Spencer mentioned our little comic when she was interviewed on Heads Up Arts Radio. Even better, HUAR linked to www.super-peers.com
headsupproductions.wordpress.com/huar/
Scroll all the way down to Episode 2, Amy Vs. Godzilla. She only mentions Super-Peers briefly because the interview is from June. The comic wasn’t quite off the ground at the time.
I hope you listen just to get to know this amazing woman a little better. Visual art is just the tip of her talents.
